OK if i get the new expansion pack sims2 pets could i still play my sims game? or will it do nothing

Once you have already installed the Sims 2, when you install the expansion, you will only need that CD (Pets) from now on.

Id backup that sims2 folder for sure or else you'll be needing that first sims2 disk again when transfering over to another computer.But of course you'll be needing the pets cd to run the game anyways.

ya cause i have 4 expansions and when u download it u can just put in the pets and it will play just the same.

It should run as normal. It always did when I used nightlife round my mates house after she lost hers.
