In the CFL, I'd say Eric Tillman (did I spell that right?) when he's given the resources...unlike when he was in Ottawa. Although, seems Wally Buono is pretty good doing both GM and coach as well.

In the NFL, I would suggest Mike Shanahan. Always gets the right players to get that running game moving, even when we're talking sixth round drafts or even undrafted. One other thing, particular to Denver, in that you never seem to hear of hold out or disgruntled players with Shanahan.
