If i wear make up (black eyeliner&eyeshadow) all till school ends & even through collage, will it make me look like im like 50 when im 20?(or just really wrinkley and older than i look like?) i take it off with Lancome eyemakeup remover everyday when i come home from school but people say that it already soked into my skin during the day. Is that true?
I wear eye makeup because i think i have small eyes & i dont look pretty without makeup =[ & its N0T cuz i wanna look older!

This is a huge myth. Makeup will not prematurely age you. It can make you look older WHILE wearing it because well, makeup has that special effect. It by no means will make you have wrinkles that you wouldn't have already gotten with aging. Whoever told you that it soaked into your skin is extremely stupid.

I think it just like a psychological thing. It becomes a habit in everyone of us. That when we often and always see someone in makeup, they look normal to us, but if they take off their make up u will feel that something is not quite right about them, like there's no color in their face cuz we got used to seeing them in make up colors and not the natural color. I believe eye make up is ok. But foundations will not be really good for this age cuz u may cause ur skin to become oily and it may result in more outbreaks as u grow older. so use more skin care products if u have got more make up. it will help u protect ur skin.

No. Just don't over do it. I've been wearing make up everyday since I was 13 years old. When people say "less is more" it really applies when you put make up on. Make up is supposed to enhance your natural beauty, not cover it up and make you look like someone else.

The key to continuing to look young is to be sure and wash the make up off your face EVERY night. I NEVER go to bed with make up on. Use a good cleanser and wash all the make up off your face and then use a moisturizer. A good moisturizer will keep the skin healthy and hydrated.

Good luck sweetie!

The actual MAKEUP should not cause you to "age".

HOWEVER- If when you are putting your make up on, you are pulling the eyelid taut, or tugging at the skin, it can definately cause wrinkles in the future.

Wearing a base/foundation actually can prevent premature aging, as most of them now contain an SPF. It protects your skin from the elements!

FYI - Lining your entire eye with black will make your eyes appear smaller. Try lining the top with liquid liner, and top with mascara. No mascara o n bottom, but use a white or peach color to line the bottom lash line. This makes eyes appear larger.

and DONT forget to curl those lashes!

Stop wearing makeup. You are too young. Your face is perfect and it doesn't need enhancements. Makeup in the stores now are very bad for your skin. Just look at the ingredients in the back. Most of the things are at least 13 letters long. And you are putting this in your face. Wear makeup when your older or for special occasions. Don't wear it everyday.

But there are natural makeup in the stores now such as Bare Minerals. However, it is a little pricey. Wear it when you get a little older and you can pay for it yourself. Good luck.

I've heard that the make-up gets stuck in your skin and while using cleansers gets most of it out, little tiny pieces get stuck in there and over the years it creates wrinkles and discolorations. Once I heard this, I stopped wearing eye make-up every day and noticed that the circles under my eyes got much lighter. If you're worried about looking different (I'm sure you look don't look bad w/o make-up!) try a powdered bronzer (as close as you can get to your sking color) and dust very little on - it works! Also mousiterizers help alot, as well as whiteing your teeth and/or changing the shape of your eyebrows. If you're allowed to, getting highlights that compliment your skintone, eyes, and haircolor (you hairstylist can help you pick a color) also helps brighten your face without make-up. By the way, professional eyebrow stylists can shape your eyebrows so your eyes don't appear as small if that's what you're worried about. Good luck :)

Eyeliner will make you look older but make up will not permanently age you. Wash your face before you go to bed. Some foundations and blushers contain sunscreen, they actually protect your skin from damage. The bad news is that sometimes they clog pores too and so you break out.

Yes it can.
Wearing makeup can pull the skin. Such as applying foundation, eyeliner, eye shadow, etc. The more you pull the skin the more "aged" your skin will look as you get older, however if you keep your make-up to a minimum and use a good moisturerizer and skin care regimen you should be fine. No one really needs to use tons of make-up minor imperfections; acne, freckles, etc.

Some people say it does make u look older but- no it does not as long as you take it off each night before you go to sleep- cause thats when the make up really sinks in your skin-
No worry hun!
You'll be 20 by the time your 20- not 50 by the time your 20!
:)
