It was televised. It was one of the big reasons cited for kennedy winning. On tv kennedy looked calm and collected and nixon looked sick and nervous. On the radio it sounded as if Nixon won, his points being better. I would say that in the future debates should be telivised because that is whatt has come to be expected. However if going by just the issues I think Nixon was not represented fairly. However I am very glad Kennedy got to be presedent before Nixon...can you imagien that guy as president during the Cuban Missile Crisis...wow. But the Kennedy Nixon debaes made it imporanat for president to look the part.

The race replaced into extremely close contained sooner or later as Kennedy received by purely 118,000 votes (decrease than a million%). those listening on the radio idea Nixon had received the debate which means that you're the finest option. besides the undeniable fact that, Nixon wasn't that previous in 1960. He replaced into feeling sick and had a 5-o-clock shadow in the course of the debate.
