if she hasn't done anything mean to you , tell her why . Give her that much respect at least.

neither, let it happen on it's own over time. of course for me, there's rarely anything to tell because I've never hid anything from the individual it wasn't as though they didn't know my situation to begin with.
I'm not very good as disappearing, i always end up coming back around. perhaps if you don't come around as much they'll get the hint and not be as receptive to your being there to begin with.
very slowly, with the same amount of tact, discretion, and care that got you into that situation to begin with. then again if none of the above applies to you, you're just screwed ...

I think if you are anykind of man you tell the girl how you feel. If she was good enough to you to sleep with you owe her the respect to tell her what's up. Just tell the woman you don't think it's working out and you should not see each other anymore. Unless, she's a psycho stalker, in which case run like hell and change your name..lol

She has a right to know because if you are married and she knows that then she may try to get back at you by ruining your marriage. I hope your not married because what goes around, comes around and it sounds like you have gotten yourself into a sticky situation.

Oh come on, you know men. I think they would most likely disappear unless they thought you would come after them.

It depends, I guess. Like a one night stand? I'd just bail like a thief in the night.
