Yes, our stockings are hung on the wall. Everybody has criticized me for doing them so early, but i have a lot of Christmas decorations and I figure that since I have to spend a lot of time getiing them out and ready then they are going to be out for at least a month and a half.

We will probably put up our decorations like a day after Thanksgiving.Yeah, we will be putting up our stockings too!

The preferable place for a stocking is on the fireplace mantle but since i dont have one, I hang ours on the banaster below the garland. It looks beautiful when its all lit up. We havne't put our decorations up yet thought, we'll probably do it within the next two weeks.

after Thanksgiving, we usually wait until its really december to decorate. The Advent callendar first, then the outside lights, then tthe tree (usually 10 days before the holiday), Stockings go up on x-mas eve!

Christmas tree was suppose to come out of attic tonite but been on here. we will be putting the tree a decs up tomorrow but the stockings will go at the end of the beds. i know it is tradition to put on the mantle piece but we done have a open fire

sorting through the decorations this week, checking lights. We hang the stockings on the fireplace, but at my sister's we hang them on the bannister.

I don't know about your walls, but my walls don't have feet and lack a need for stockings.
