the normal time to break up relationships?
my man is leaving me for Christmas to spend it home as always, but I feel he does not love me and feel how I would have a lonesome Christmas...

He probable loves you but still has to spend it with his family. Spend it with your family. Then, get together w/ him the next day or something. I don't think Christmas time is a good way to break up.

His family was there way before yoru time.

Bringing a gf to his family is a whole other can of worms, that normally means the final steps towards marriage, so if both of you are young or in the early stages of the relationship, this is something that wouldn;t happen until LATER.

I'm sure that he cares about you, but I assume that is too early in the relationship for this, and if he always is spending Chrismas at home, is because it's time for family, specially if he lives away... youhave the rest of the year to be with him.

Good luck

It is entirely possible that he loves you AND he loves his family.

And there's nothing wrong with you telling him how you feel, if he's the kind of guy your thinking of spending the rest of your life with then you might as well start now with that whole sharing feelings thing.

I've been married for two years, and I've found through that (and my years of dating before) that usually when a guy has hurt my feelings, he almost never even knew until I told him, and then we got to talk about it. You know, one of the biggest reasons I even first thought of marrying my husband was when I brought a concern to him, and it's not like we ever really agreed, but we talked it out so well, we both left the conversation feeling good and closer than before. It meant a lot to me that we knew how to disagree.

best wishes

It sure doesn't seem like it's normal for a break-up to happen at Christmas-time... it didn't seem normal for my dad to die on New Year's Day... but it happened.
I truly hope, with all my heart... that you have a wonderful Christmas... regardless of what your man decided to do.
