The second world war. So many countries were involved, so many millions of people died in the Holocaust, and then you have the atomic bomb being used as a weapon. Wouldn't the world be a better place if Hitler never lived????

I would undo World War Two something that was started for political and power gains, but ended in introducing the world to the effects of weapons of MASS destruction, a shadow under which the world will live in for all eternity. Take out WWII and the progress in military technology, may have not been at such rapid rates, development of other sectors maybe more beneficial, to the populace of the world in general, may have been the order of the day

Good answer re The Twin Towers. Okay, if I can only choose one in the past 200 years--I'd say the Vietnam War. Hmmmm...gets you thinking, doesn't it?

Quite a bit before the 2 year limit but it would have to be the roman battle at adrainaople in order to warn the great roman empire of the what was going to happen and rout the goths and win this battle that or the final battle of Constanstinople so that the damn muslims would lose..give the bizantines modern artillary to win that one.
