Try going to bed earlier. I did while I was pregnant. From my second trimester on I went to bed at 7:00 and was asleep by 8:00. It seemed to help me becuase I was very tierd too. I worked 40 hours a week at a pretty layed back job. If your getting close to delivering You may just wnat to take maternitly leave sooner if you can! Good luck to you! Congrats

Walking and light exercise will help with that. But if you are tired why not sleep, if you can. Being pregnant takes a big toll on your body and you will be tired. It's like your body is resting up for the big day!

ahhhhhhhh... i am sooo sorry, that sucks! I believe the best answer is to just try and go to bed earlier and/or take some naps during the day. Sleeping more IS a necessity for you now.
But I know it helps me if I do some stretches and a light exercise routine before I get my day started, it really does boost my energy.

Good luck!!

There really isn't much you can do but I found either drinking a glass of orange juice or eating a protein bar helped me. Once you get into the 6th or 7th month you will have a little more energy. Good luck and Congratulations!

Sleep Darlin' thats all. I slept every opportunity I could during my first trimester. Literally, on weekends, I would go to bed @ 9 pm, sleep till 9am, wake up, eat, do the laundry and cat nap between cycles, eat, take a two hour nap, eat, get up and clean, eat, take another small nap, wake up watch t.v. then be back in bed by 9 pm. Seriously. And during the week, I'd go to work, come home eat and go directly to bed. But be sure you are getting enough fluids (water) if your dehydrated that can add to your pregnancy fatigue.

I felt the same way, but for the past two weeks I make sure to drink orange juice (with pulp if it makes any difference) and folic acid additional to my prenatals. Since then my energy has come back about 90%. Hope you find the trick for you!

Because you are preganant NO PEP ME UPS ALLOWED! So the best thing is drink lots of water, eat right and get plenty of sleep. Also slack off the sugar and caffine, though its not great for the baby it won't hurt it, but for your sake the crash after the sugar and caffine rush is not gonna help. good luck!

Nothing. It is pretty common to be very tired during early pregnancy (first trimester). Don't take stimulants or anything as there is nothing that is safe for your baby.

Be sure to take your prenatal vitamins. Actually, this extreme tiredness should pass after the first trimester or three months. Hang in there!
