I can't speak for everyone, but I'm American and I don't. In fact my great great grandfather was French.

You can't lump all Americans into one group and say they all love or hate anything. There is great diversity among the American people. Some may hate the French. Some may love the French, but probaly most Americans don't love or hate the French people as a whole.

yes I do actually hate is too strong of a word more like dislike why do they think they are better every one else they they a rude and come across as stuck up when I was in France granted I was only there for two days but the people i met did not seem very friendly sorry I think the french need too learn some manners or least how to be polite same with Canadians and New Yorkers

No, Americans don't hate french people, they just have a few negative feelings towards them because they harrassed us about the Iraq war. Anyway, most Americans dream about going to France, just when politics kick in, there are a few negative feelings, but hate is much too strong a word. So in short, no, Americans do not hate the French.

Americans perceive that the French hate Americans. This is a view that began when DeGaulle kicked the US forces out of France.
Lately the anti-French sentiment has been fanned by Fox news and the other rabble-rousers.

Yes only because they hate us though, its like they totally forgot about World War 2 and think the US is not important in the world, my brother went to France a couple of years ago and said they are very rude to Americans, but the women are nice to American men because they think they all have money
