PERSONALLY! OF COURSE IT COULD LAST! I'm living, breathing proof! My husband is now 24 and I'm 21 but we started dating when I was 16 years old and he was 19. We were best friends 2 yrs. prior but didn't date until I was 16. Everyone didn't think it would last and my mom thought I was too young but here we are! We both wanted to be together and knew what we had ahead of us so that only made us work harder. By the way, I think love has to do with your state of mind and maturity.

definitely... now they should be careful though, because during the teen years, people have hormones all over, etc. Also, the 'fire' that people experience when in a relationship commonly dies out after about 4 yrs. If they are meant for each other though, then it shouldn't be a problem.

Depends on the people involved. Although, there is a lot of life to be lived. I have a coworker who met his wife years ago when they were teens. He went off to college, dated, lived life and eventually met up with her again and married. You never know where life will take you.

Of course they can believe they are serious and that love will last forever...remember being that age. It is often the strongest love we ever feel. That doesn't mean it is right or that it will last. One way or the other, you can't interfere. If you believe it is love or not is irrelevant. I hope they are responsible.

They should wait to get married or think of marriage until they're in their 20s. If you're talking about sex, wait til their married.
