Suit, hands down.
The only time a man should wear a kilt to his wedding is if he has strong, and I do mean strong, cultural ties that dictate the wearing of one, or if by some odd chance his fiance agrees that he can wear one without offending her.

I am reading all the answers and I disagree.
Kilts are beautiful and traditional.
Assuming that your question was for the attire of the prospective groom?
My final answer is- Ask the bride to be. Its her wedding and the only time she can plan how everyone must look like for the pictures.

My man is Scottish and only a kilt will do! Miles better than those penguin suits.

I think a kilt would be great, but would look better if the best man and the person giving the bride away wore one also.

I'd prefer my hubby to wear a suit, but then again, I am not Scottish!
EDIT:
Why the thumbs down??? I am saying, that if you originate from Scotland, then a kilt would definately be an option for a true Scottish wedding! No offense to any Scots out there!
