That was the whole idea of society and civilizations. Nomads found that they could hunt effectively by sharing their skills and by team work. Unfortunately, there has always been someone (like kings of yore, or most politicians of today), who succeed in much taking more than what they give. This desire for taking more breaks the system so much that a "society based on sharing" appears like a foreign concept.
