most animanls were born with ways of defending themselves against the hot weather. but i think that animals do have some sense, as you never see a camel out in the sun about mid day do you. there are many ways in which camels have been adapted, they have long lashes so they can stop any sand from blowing into there eyes. they have a water hump which allows them to store extra fluid to stop dehydration. plus there are many more ways

My son has a chinchilla he has taken the pet to Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan.

Singapore is 90 degrees 365 days per year

Japan is freezing in winter.

Chinchilla has adapted well to everywhere

the desert rats are cold blooded so they can't stay out in the heat for too long or their blood gets too hot so they only come out at night and stay in the cool under rocks etc during the day.

and yea.. camels are the best ones for hot weather.. with their water humps to stay hydrated and long eyelashes to bat away the desert sand... and their feet and large and flat to stop them sinking into the sand. im sure theres a raosn behind their spitting too but im sorry i cant remember!!

well think of some animals that live in hot weather and think about what physical characteristics they share.

no fur (or low amounts of fur), ability to retain water for long periods of time, elephants' ears work like fans to cool themselves, etc...
