How will i fit in? I already have a job set up but no place to live. Am i taking on more then i can handle?

depends where youre from, if youre American and you bring with you an American attitude then NO you wont fit in.....learn to BBQ, love the environment, enjoy a coldie and bundy and enjoy being layed back and relaxed and you'll fit in fine. who ever you have set up work with, should be able to find you affordable accomodation for when you arrive.
yup same expectation goes for the female!

You'll fit in great as long as you are honest with yourself and expect set backs, it won't all be plain sailing. But believe me, it will be worth it in the end. Being male or female doesn't enter into it from my point of view, it's who are and how you deal that will make or break you. Good luck, cobber!

Well, just throw some steaks on the barbie and you'll fit in for sure. Oh, find a place to live first.

If you speak English in public (or try to ) & aim to be like an Aussie & don't try to change us & don't just hang around with your own kind & you make Aussie mates etc you will be most welcome
