First, figure out where you are. Are you melancholy? Depressed? Generally "blah"? Overly euphoric? Goofy? Hysterical?
If you are not ill (physically), or angry (justifiably or otherwise), or one of the other things described above, you may have simply gotten bored and wandered away from from your happy place. Like a day trip.
I recall a time when, after 4 days of continuous rain and clouds, I was so housesick, that I just went for a drive. It was grey. Gloomy. Hideously depressing and awful. So was I. Yech.
I stopped at a little bar in Glendale, California for no good reason. It's on the main strip and specializes in jazz trios and quartets, mediocre food and great bartenders. The bar is fitted with brass elephant heads that hold up the bar rail. Cool. A little vodka, please.
There was a pudgy woman there singing depressing torch songs from the 30's and 40's. You know. The "My Man done Done Me Wrong", stuff. Weepy, wailing saxophone and thoroughly downmaking. I listened for about 3 hours.
I loved it. Felt great when I left, too. Just giving in and wallowing in gloom and rain and all.
Reveling in melancholy is just a way of experiencing a facet of life. It's when you decide to go live there that you need to get some help. Same with your happy place.
Nice place to visit. Good place to be, in general. But if you don't get out and take a few emotional day trips, when some big problems take you out involuntarily, you may not know what to do.
Relax. Look around. Even in the gloom there can be something to see, to feel, to learn.
Growth! Emotional, intellectual, whatever. Interesting stuff. Enjoy.
Best wishes!

Happy Place renders the resulting configuration of a system of friendly nodes. They are connected at random with preferences to nodes closer. Connections between nodes are considered friendships.
Nodes position themselves with only two goals in mind:
A. Move close to friends but no closer than some minimum distance.
B. Distance self from non-friends as reasonably as possible.
- Sounds like good advice to me.

Where is your happy place? I can usually find mine either with a couple of friends playing pool, or playing with animals. Sleeping is good, too. Some think that leads to depression, so I can't suggest you do that. Amusement parks are great!! And Target.
