I allready have lap top that i can go wireless at home, I need to know if I can also use the wire less for my desk top, is there any special soft ware that I need to purchase or what do I need to to ?

You need a wireless network card for your PC.

This is very vague to work with, but if you have a wireless card for your laptop and don't have an access point at home, or wireless router already hooked up, then you will need to purchase one at a computer store and hook it up to your desktop. This is very easy and the instructions come with the wireless router. Once hooked up and the access point is set up you will be wireless for I think 100 feet from the router so you may want to encrypt the router so no one else can surf your connection, which is why I am assuming you want to go wireless.
