Let me put this another way - would you ever take a day of and go to work - just experience the friendships - the activity - the importance of your job - well would ya !
I don"t get to go to work - I am traped in the body of a child and must stay in almost all the time - Maybe we can trade places and find out who will go to work and really enjoy being out and just doing something ! Moving, touching, feeling, thinking, lunching,
driving a car and sailing down the road - with no one else doing everything for you - Ya, you take a few days off and I will take your place -

Yes I have. I've called in sick because I didn't sleep well the night before and just stayed home and chilled for the whole day.

Thunderstorms were forecast for the next day so I did not go into work. I wanted to stay home and enjoy the rain. It rained all right...at 8 P.M.!!!

Yes, indeed that's how come we have personal and sick leave. One can only claim 300 hours @ retirement so why not use up over the 300, ya gonna lose it.

I do it all the time. I have a stressful job and I go to school full time so yeah there are days where I don't go in to either one.
