I don't know but I have the I hate going to my sister-in-laws syndrome because I cringe when I see her. Do you think that's the same. So tell me is there any cure? I've even thought about just staying home and letting my husband go without me.

Soceraphobia - Fear of parents-in-law. Or Pentheraphobia/Novercaphobia - Fear of mother-in-law. Even the Greeks hated meeting the parents; mad, eh?

As I understand it (I'm not married and never have been) it is actually not a phobia, per se - but a necessary fear spawned by reality.
