I am looking for a driver for a linksys wireless - g notebook adapter that will work on an old compaq armada with windows 98 on it. free is good.

I've found compatible drivers for many different hardware products there. Just keep in mind the Microsoft no longer supports Windows 9.X. This means that hardware and software vendors no longer support the OS, so any thing you do is at your own risk.

go to walmart buy a wireless usb adaptor they have them with win98 support
