After a scan what is the best course of action I should take? Should I quarantine items or should I delete them. I don't really understand the difference.

I've always deleted, and experience no problems as a result.

Quarantine allows you to recover something that may have been quarantined by mistake. Delete removes the item from your computer. I would quarantine until your are more comfortable with what is being done.

Quarantine.

Only delete when you are sure that the item is not important to the running of your PC.

Quarantine them then once you go through the rest of the options, you can delete the quarantine file to get rid of it

Let the software make the initial decision. If it recognises a file as being definately unfriendly, it will delete it or recommend you do so. The problem is that some quite legitimate programs have files that do some of the same things that malware does, but for perfectly valid reasons. With these files, it quarantines them (its sort of like moving them to the Recycle Bin). Then, if another program misses them and crashes, you can put them back again.

Quarantine only items that cannot be deleted. Delete the rest.

Quarantine will enabled you to restore these itmes if something goes wrong by removing them. Deleting will simply remove them from you sustem. You should quarantine, then delete these items after a period of time, when you see your system if still functioning correctly.

Delete them. This is why you have installed it. Quarantine just leaves them safely on your PC, but taking up valuable Hard Disk space.

I would delete them. Quarantine is just a saftey feature that makes sure you don't delete any files that you might need. It allows you to go back and install them.

Quaratine dose not same place nor dose it let them run. It's kinda like a safe where you put your money.
