Well, see they could all eat together back then since there were no Cowboys to create such a rivalry. There's a LOT you can do with the entire turkey. where do you think they got all those feathers from!? As for the pigskin, that was a tough one because pig wasn't native to North America, so they had to come up with something orginal to use the whole pig... hence, football.

they did not just eat turkey, they ate a feast with all sorts of food like ham, beef, corn.
