Has anyone seen kramers tirade on youtube? If you haven't you can go to youtube and type kramer racist and you will see the video. I was pretty shocked when I saw it. When I first read about it I was like wow, in total amazement. Do you think he was wrong? Also, do you think its a double standard because all of the talk is about kramer being racist, but there is no talk about the man calling kramer a cracker? Your views and opinions.

The black guy called him a cracker (only once) AFTER he was screamed at and called "***-er" by Richards repeatedly (in additional to other racial insults). And it doesn't take a genius to know that "***-er" is a worse insult and slur than "cracker."

Heckling is expected in stand up. This is motivation for comedians to improve their act and get some laughs with a snappy comeback. Richards was acting like a baby who can't take any criticism and he threw a tantrum and his true colors came out. He clearly looks like someone who'd never done this before. Whatever his issues were, he should have reacted to the expected heckling like a normal person; rather than personally attack someone based on race. There are many racists in Hollywood (don't be fooled by the "liberal" branding). A black woman working behind the scenes on "Friends" made claimed the the writers would constantly make racist, anti-black comments and sexist comments regarding the actresses on the show. This is the REAL Hollywood you don't hear much about until incidences like this.

I actually think he is a racist, he just hasn't been public about it before. I think that his ego has grown enough that he thinks he can use his 'tirade' as comic material or just to flaunt his celebrity.
I watched the youtube video twice and didn't hear any mention of the Richards being called a cracker (I also don't know what one is).
Either way the main point was of Richards' racial tirade, in any way is very wrong and unexcusable. I was very dissappointed with his actions.

The Heckler call Michael Richards a "Cracker" in response to his (Richards) racist tirade. Granted, two wrongs don't make a right but...
In most comedy clubs, heckling is almost the norm. New & established comedians try out new material & if it bombs, they get heckled. The heckler is & will continue to be a nameless, faceless entity while Richards depends on name & face recognition. Now, for right or wrong, he'll (Richards) be known as a racist.

I do not think he is seriously a racist, but he should not have said some of the things he said.
