write her a letter telling her that you love her and want to start new and would she be willing to start over and see where it goes from there. but what ever let her know that you love her and want things between you and her to change for the better. sometimes kids have to make the first move when there parent is not in the right state of mind adults sometimes forget that we can learn so much from our children , trust me my daughter taught me how to be humble and wow what an experience and she loves me very much and told me that i was stifling her by not letting her make mistakes for her own good and other great things that i thought i knew more then her and actually she really helped me a lot once i took off the blinders so sometimes kids have to help reshape the parents. lol

I will try to be of some help. As I have gone through this with my mom.

Explain to her, that even though your relationship hasn't been as well as you had wanted. You are leaving soon, and don't want to leave on bad terms. That you are grown up now, and you would like to take your relationship as mother and daughter to that level. Where you would like to share things with her, but feel it is hard sometimes, as being away for college, you may feel like you want to tell her certain things. I would just tell her how you sincerely feel.

If this doesn't work, don't blame yourself.. i still am. Really it doesn't get you anywhere. Just go to school, and try to have fun. Your mom will always be there, just hopefully your relationship will get better.

Good luck with this. But don't hang yourself over it... you can't change the way that your mom is, just know that you tried.

First of all, why are you not getting along? Did something happen? Was there a big fight, or are you just very different people? If it's the first, apologize (even if you weren't wrong; people warm up to you when you do this ^.^). If it's the second, you just need to tell her how you feel. I know it's hard, but you're her daughter. I seriously doubt she won't want to listen to you if you have something important to talk to her about.

I'm glad you want to fix things with your mom before you head off to college! So many girls don't, and it makes me sad; moms and daughters can be great friends if they make the effort to love eachother despite their differences.

that's not a count number of who's properly or incorrect the following. surely the daughter desires to continually tutor her be certain understand! at the same time as the daughter replaced into age 5 her personality replaced into quite a lot shaped, whom does she imagine filled her concepts with each of the "properly" morals and concepts turning out to be up? HER mom!!! basically understanding the records we do about the daughter, we may be able to assume her baby hood replaced into very finished of convenience and deep loving, if the daughter became out to boot because the letter states. a infant's concepts is form of a sponge at the same time as they're born, that's takes an outstanding be certain to coach and handbook them interior the right way-for them to reveal out good. sounds like this daughter became out quite protect and satisfied. And now her as hence of her mom is through performing like a spoiled , egocentric, thoughtless-human being-who can't stand her moms voice! WOW, this daughter is going to get a rude awakening! I wager she particular loved it at the same time as her mom advised her rhymes tho!! i'm sorry to say, that sometime the daughter will be sorry she ever felt or acted this way in direction of her mom. you'll purely have basically one mom once you're in this earth, and also you should thank God widely used for that.

This is complicated because it all depends on what the issue is! Mostly, we don't get along with out mothers because they feel they see us making the wrong choices. Unfortunately when we are younger we don't realise that our parents really were our age before and are only trying to save us from making mistakes. If she isn't listening, then you need to tell her "Mom, I don't feel that you listen to what I have to say!" I don't know what is going on in your Mom's life, she may be distracted because of things happening to herself.

time to sit down and talk..if you dont think she will listen, how about writing her a long letter and give it to her before you take off for awhile. Tell her how important your relationship is and that you love her...just might work

Sounds to me like you've exhausted all your options. Try one final time, then cut the cord.

You should definitely talk to her about it.

Your mom might not realize it's a big problem, so you should bring it to her attention.

Tell her how you feel. Just as simple as that. And if that doesn't work, leave your situation in GOD'S hands. It will be sure to come through.

good for you!
my advice: tell her what you just told us.

and if she blows you off, then don't let it get you down.
you made the effort, and if she doesn't appreciate that,
then it is her problem- not yours.
