What are the rules a muslim girl must follow during her period/puberty?

During her period she can't pray or touch the Quran because she is considered to be in a state of "impureness" and also doesn't fast in Ramadan during days when she has her period.

do whatever is sanitary (ie not harmful to your health) or embarassing because embarassing some one should be a SIN.
