look in egypt its different, we do have zip codes in egypt but according to areas.
u need to find the nearest post office to u and ask there, their number is your number.
for example, in cairo garden city, down town wel manate2 di has zip code 11461, when u goo deep in manial and roda its 11451.
so in alex u just go to the nearest post office or if u recieve any letters at home, check the envelope, u'll find ur zip code, its 5 digits.

ZIP (Zone Improvement Plan) Code — Established in 1963, the United States system of 5-digit codes that identifies the individual post office or metropolitan area delivery station associated with an address.

(More Details: The first three digits identify the delivery area of a sectional center facility or a major-city post office serving the delivery address area. The next two (the fourth and fifth) digits identify the delivery area of an associate post office, post office branch, or post office station. All post offices are assigned at least one unique 5-digit code. ZIP+4 is an enhanced code consisting of the 5-digit ZIP Code and four additional digits that identify a specific range of delivery addresses.)

What your looking for is your "postal code". A postal code refers to the foreign equivalent of the US ZIP Code

Zip code are American based routing for physical mail. It's short for Zoning Improvement Plan Code and as far as I know it's US based.

Your country may have something similar called a postal code.

These codes provide a basic location for an address due to the difficulties in reading handwritting. It will narrow it down to a basic geographical area with the hope and intention of finding the correct reciepant.
