I have to write a short science fiction story and I havent been able to come up with a plot. can anyone help me? PLEASE I would really appreciate it. thank you

Science fiction is always best when based on some fact or scientific theory. I just heard that Asian scientists believe that the Earth will be hit by a meteor the size of the moon sometime between 2026-2028 that will cause an ELE, extinction level event. You should write a story about that and how some humans and animals survived and how they adapted to life on the "new" Earth. I would definitely read it.

Aliens inhabited the Earth and become part of a co-existance program that has forced extra-terrestrials and humans to live together. However, a new hybrid has been developed after a human and alien mate. The result creates a lethal combination of the genetic compounds of both races, forcing a law to come in effect that does not allow inter-being relationships. The strain changes a once peaceful co-existance into an all out world war.

what about a plot line of a rellationship from three different dimensions and once one of the people from that dimension saids or does something it will affect the other two dimensions one for the good and the other for the bad but in the end all three dimension converfe as one how and what problems each dimension does I do not know cause it has 1000's of was to go
but I hope this helps it is somthing like the store the lake house I think but the third dimension put a more of a twist on it

GOD was an alien culture that placed man on this planet with the injunction to "Be fruitful and multiply". They supplied a complete mythos for the humans, including a "Second Coming" of GOD.
The second coming arrives. All halos and choruses of angels...the faithful line up to go to heaven....
and are made into sausages.

Aliens come to earth to invade and destroy the planet but they see we are doing a good enough job on out own. It could have an environmental bent to it. The moral could be that we all need to learn to love our planet a bit more or we will lose it.
If you use this idea could I see the essay please?

in line with threat you may have the main character being attracted to her kidnapper's reason after observing her and then come to a variety to connect her and have the tale end with their communicate of staging a considerable insurrection or something
