Within the last day and a half he hasn't been able to stand or move without support. I thought he might have colic but that isn't it cuz he is pooping. When he stands up, he falls back down. He is only 3 years old. I don't understand what it could be, he has received all his shots. I called the Vet and she will be here in a couple of hours.

West nile even if he's had the shots. There are two strains of Potamac but I haven't heard of that symptom. Can he get to any maple trees? Red maple leaf poisoning is usually deadly. EPM or wobblers (quarterhorses only)

Sounds to me like your horse has eaten either bad hay or some plant on your property that was poisonous. Perhaps poison sumak?
I have only heard of this once, but a somewhat similar thing happened to a horse at a training facility near me and the horse had gotten water in it's ears and it had thrown off his equilibrium. He had no balance what so ever. Both of these are treatable if you get a vet out soon enough. I hope everything works out.

Sorry, there's a lot of things that could be wrong here. Uh, I'd call the vet and speed that call up if I was you! If he's falling he could injure himself even more, tell her to move it, it's an emergency call!

WEST NILE, or some other neurilogical disease. and I can't believe you waited so long to call your vet out. there should of been some other signs earlier, when your horse gets to this point it's bad. hope he pulls thru
