Fish Bathroom

I wouldn't... if there's a shower in there the heat could kill your fish, and they'll be a lot healthier if they can get at least a little bit of natural sunlight (unless your bathroom has a window, then nevermind that). Most bathrooms have a lot of chemicals in them from cleaning and other things, so I don't think it's the best place to put a fish.

Yeah but I wouldn't reccomend getting a 100$, wicked fragile fish that will die from the slightest tap on the tank because if there is a shower in there that you use a lot, then the temps. are gonna be varying a lot. Get a hardy type of fish, like a goldfish(remember10 gallons per fish) or a beta fish (strictly solitary). Hope this helps!!!

Sure you can, but just be careful of the aerosols that you might use in there like air fresheners and hairspray and perfumes.Anything that that might land on the top of the water could be harmful to the fish. I am not real sure about the humidity issue, that would be depending on the kind of fish you plan on having and how hardy they are. It does sound like a neat idea to me and I am not a spring chicken either !!

I guess you could, but if that bathroom is susceptible to steaming up, then I wouldn't suggest it. Fish are very sensitive when it comes to water temperature in their tank, and a constant cycle of steaming up and cooling down in the bathroom can cause a lot of stress for the fish.

Yes i have a fish in my bathroom named Junior. In fact, its even better for the fish because there is mostly water up there. Like, the sink, the shower/tub, the toilet, and the fishbowl.

I know there are some battery operated air pumps, but I don't think that filters and heaters would be battery operated. However the tank is full of water anyway, so with it being in the bathroom, it shouldn't be any MORE of a hazard. The Oxygen tablets are for fish that don't seem to be getting enough oxygen from the water and I don't know anybody that uses those things. have you seen the toliet that has a fish tank in it? You need to check that out!

Yes you can put a fish tank in the bath room but remember and use low volage electrical supply or BOOM. Dont use too much conditioner when washing your hair; it clouds the water.

Yes, but that funny square tank on the back of your toilet isn't a fish tank :)

I don't see why not! As long as you keep chemicals away from it. I mean you brush your teeth in the bathroom and are still alive right? Go for it! It would also go for a great coversation when you have company!
