Hello just got my engagemrnt ring and when my finger is cold it`s loose ,but when i wear it in bed or when my hands are cold it`s loose ,but not as loose as it is when it`s cold .now my finger ring was sized and it is an m !the ring is m and a half ,It never goes past ny knucle though ,what should i do ?

I got engaged last Christmas and wasnt going to get it sized b/c I just thought it my fingers had shrunk b/c it was cold. Your fingers do tend to be smaller when your cold. I did get it sized b/c I felt I was going to lose it, although it didnt go over my knuckle. I think we only did it a quarter of a size, maybe half, but I'm much more comfortable with it now. Sometimes it's still even a bit big when my fingers are cold, but when they swell, it's no problem!

If it's loose when your hands are at normal temperatures, then get it sized down. Doing many things, like washing your hands, will make the ring even looser, and it may fall off. An engagement ring is too precious, both in money and sentimental value, to risk loosing. It doesn't cost much to get a ring re-sized, and you'll be happy that you did. If you ever need to larger, there is no reason why you couldn't get it sized back up again.

Nope, don't get it sized any smaller. Get a ring card put on by your jeweler that will keep it tight against your finger. You can take the ring guard off when you don't need it. Trust me, the days will come when your fingers will swell up (when you're pregnant, for example) and you'll be glad your ring isn't any smaller!
