NO. If you own the original disk, you can make a copy for backup under the fair use law. However if you copy someone elses cd, you are technically breaking the law.

it's not illegal to burn compact disks, it illegal to download and burn copyrighted information

that law like changes everyday, i mean everyone does it, do it in your own home as long as u dont get caught selling them your straight
