Devon Aoki is 5'5", and I believe that Kate Moss is only about 5'6". I do agree with the other posters theough, it is rare for a model to be that short, especially on runway.

Off the top of my head, I can't name one. But they do exist. In exemplis: how many people, much less how many women in Japan are 5'10"? Yet they have models there. I am not implying that you would have to model in Asia, but you do see that it is a misconception that you have to be 5'10" to be a model.
You are taller than the average American woman. If you have a good figure and a beautiful face, and that je ne sais pas charm, then you definately have a good chance of being a model.

You won't be a high-fashion or runway model but you could do other types. Not to be mean, but they want someone who is at least 5'8" (Kate Moss) and even then people threw a fit when she first came on the scene. But there is lots of other work for you to do...catalogs, etc.

The runway wants girls closer to 6-foot. But there's other kinds of modeling, not just runway.
If it's your dream, go for it!

There are MANY types of models!!!
Hand, foot, nail, skin, hair...not every model is a runway or magazine cover model!!

yes my sister and their called print models. they can only do catalog work or print work. she can't do high fashion or runway because she too short.
