Hi,

I am Currently doing a website for my Sunday League Football Team. Which is also for my Computing Degree.

I have designed 2 homepages. i have uploaded these for you experts to have a look at and give me your opinions on where i can improve the site. when you open the page it will give you the option of opening either site 1 or site 2. please when giving feed back let me know which is your favourtie and why.

i am also looking to put a news ticker on my site. anyne know who i can put this onto my site would be great.

I think that version 2 was your best work! The use of tables was very neat, and organized. Though the color style was the same, I think that site 2 was better because of its simplicity :)

For the news ticker, I don't know of any professional offerings, but you can use a basic HTML code (but it won't look as flashy).

Not sure why they blocked your URL, but I got to it by http://tmet07.co.uk . Looks pretty good for a start. Most of the links on site 2 are still pointing to local G; drive so you need to upload those again and fix them.

Are you a professional designer or just helping the club out? If professional, then still needs a bit of work. Some of the layout on the pages shifts th location of the left nav bar back and forth - like it is set to two different widths.

If you are not a pro, then kudos to you for getting a really nice site out there.

In either case, the layout is user friendly and getting around makes sense - the number on thing in site design.
