I think people should be learning English more so-- rather than us getting soft and making everything in Spanish. Your thoughts?

I agree..... everyone who lives in this country should learn to speak ENGLISH.

I agree also. But the fact remains that there is a bunch of Spanish speaking people here. I don't know why they cater to them, because there is also lots of Asian immigrants too. But the majority of immigrants are Spanish. And instead of having to SPEAK with ANYONE on those phonelines, they would rather just give the option of the 2 main languages spoken here in the US. Customer Service at it's best. :)

I agree! Do you really think Mexico would put up with us going into their country and demanding everything in English and every type of assistance the government offers? No way!

I agree. And why is Spanish the only other option? Are they special?
Maybe other people coming to the U.S. will demand that German, Italian, French, Russian, Chinese, etc. should be the choices as well.
Let's stick with English and quit the nonsense and pandering.

Oh man, I know what you mean, I hate that. But what is worse is when you call and it says "for English, press 1." Now that pisses me off.

? People in Europe (and all over the world) learn to speak english to better accomodate us, and most Americans over ther are tourists or something.
