Have you asked your wife what it is that you may be lacking. Have you been totaly there for her emotionally as well as financially. Maybe she is going through a very selfish phase in her life.

Have you asked her to go to counseling to see if you guys can mend what is broke. I dont know your situation but as being a woman myself there seems to be something more going on in your lives for her to want something different. Try talking to her.

Really, the end of a marriage is not the end of the world. As grim as things may look, there are lots of single women out there who would be glad to partner up with you. For now, suggest marriage counselling. If she wants the marriage to be truly over, seek counselling for yourself. Your kids need you. They will be going through the divorce along with you and will be just as heart-broken as yourself. Live for them, if not for yourself.

Does she already have the new model picked out yet? Tell her you are like a fine wine, better with age. Tell her the new model may have advanced bells and whistles, but the old model is dependable and still runs great.

1st- get your mind straight on your priorities to your kids, show them that they come first in whatever decision is made. Then, get counseling, a counselor can suggest some appropriate reading materials for you and sessions to help you cope with this critical point in your life. keep in mind that your kids might need help too.
Good luck.
