Because your result is odd (not divisible by 2), the last digit can't be 0 or 2, so it must be 1 or 3...

If the last digit is 3, the other digits must add to 1, so you have only one choice:
103

If the last digit is 1, the other digits must add to 3, so your choices are:
121
211
301

Now test each one to see if it is divisible by 7:
103 / 7 = 14.714285...
121 / 7 = 17.285714...
211 / 7 = 30.142857...
301 / 7 = 43

So the only number that fits your criteria is:
301

301 is 3 digits
301 is divisible by 7 (7 x 43)
301 is *not* divisible by 2
The sum of my digits (3 + 0 + 1) is 4.

Let ABC be the 3-digit number.

If it's not divisible by 2, then C must be odd,
that is C = 1, 3, 5, 7 or 9.

If the sum of all the digits is 4, then C must be 1 or 3.

If C is 1 or 3, then A can only be 1, 2 or 3.

If A = 1 and C = 1, then B = 2, so ABC = 121.
If A = 1 and C = 3, then B = 0, so ABC = 103.
If A = 2 and C = 1, then B = 1, so ABC = 211.
If A = 3 and C = 1, then B = 0, so ABC = 301.

These are the only four possibilities, so far.

Dividing each of them by 7, we see that the
only value for ABC must be 301 (301 / 7 = 43).

You want an odd 3 digit number divisible by 7 with sum of
digits 4. Well, the first digit can only be 1, 2, or 3.
And by trying all the possibilities we find that the
only possible answer is 301. 112 is not acceptable
because it's even.
