I was the only child in (1984) my class that never got to see it! My parents never took me....deprived! lol lol i saw it the first time in my late 20's only because we were going to Florida and the ET ride....i had a tear, but then i cried when i walked through the doors of Magic Kingdom!!!

Yes and have cried every time ever since, anyone who does not cry at ET does not know what they are missing, I feel so much better after a good cry at a movie..............I know daft as a brush, but I dont care.

I haven't watched it in about six years. I don't plan to watch it for a long time, just to avoid crying!

I took my 4 children to see it and we all cried when the flower started to regenerate itself.

The very next day I took my parents to see it, and we all cried again.

It was a pretty enjoyable film.

I cried for days after I saw that movie!!!!
Then when they re-released it I bought it for my 5 year old son and we both cried.

I'm not ashamed to admit I cry every time I see it, though now it's more because of the beautiful music at the end whereas aged ten I thought he had really died.

It kinda freaked me and my sisters out.

My twin sis actually screamed when his fingers reached out for the candy! LOL

Then again we were pretty young when we first saw it.
