I've always preferred a leotard. It keeps all the jiggly bits from jiggling too freely....the bits that a sports bra doesn't reach ;)

Some still do wear them, but I think it dropped off when so many women-only clubs opened. It was great to be able to wear a saggy shirt and comfortable shorts because you didn't have to get dressed up. A lot of women aren't comfortable enough with their bodies to wear the tights and leotards, which is a shame, because it isn't supposed to be a beauty contest, but a workout.

Most people don't they just wear a workout top and tight pants depending on what kind of class or place you go to people wear baggy comfy clothes

Nope, I haven't seen them in a LONG time! Mostly long "yoga" black pants and T-shirts is what they are wearing.
