can anyone give me as much facts about the old globe theatre please?<^,,^>

2: It's by the Thames.
3: It has no Proscenium Arch, being instead "In the Round".
4: For a long while it wasn't there anymore, then it was rebuilt.

Well, from what I learnt in school.

It was built in 1599
Built by the playing company.
Most popular for Shakespears plays
It was destroyed by a fire in..erm 1613
Rebuilt 1614
the Globe was closed down by the Puritans in 1642.. I don't know why.
It could hold around 3000 people.
