When i have my period its usauly a pretty normal flow and i can go with a normal sized tampond for a long time. But when i got my period this time i went to school with one and i ended up going onto a very very eavy flow wich is very unusual...i thought ok maby its just one day, but is ben a second day and its still very very heavy....also you know when we kinda have that thick substance that comes out everynow and then..i have ben getting ALOT of that so much that it dosent seem normal....this flow is so unusual ..im 17 so its not that i dont know whats going on ..... this has never happend befor....

It's probably nothing to worry about. Your body is still changing at 17, but it wouldn't hurt to ask a gyn.

Stress may cause your flow to change depending on how you are feeling. Dont worry unless it becomes a problem over a few months. If it does, see your doctor.

Also, if you are sexually active, that may have something to do with it, especially if you have contracted an STD. If that may be the case, go see your doctor.

I wouldn't really worry about it unless your sexually active... How about the pain is there any or is it worse then normal? If so and your sexually active then it could be a miscarriage... Either way i would talk to your doctor...Or more importantly your Obgyn if you got one and tell them whats going on...

thats normal no need to worry cause it should taper off in a few days and when it does i would do some further research in your famiy tree. cause this could be heredity.

you might have vitamin deficiency..take extra magnesium,200mg vitamin c 1gr, zinc 15mg, iron 30mg a day or a good multivit and mineral supplement a day with extra vitamin c...

Maybe you should try discussing that with your parents or your guardian maybe even your DOCTOR because that's too much business for us to be knowing
