LeBron is having a great year, Carlos Boozer is doing a stellar job in Utah, Michael Redd is doing good, Kobe is doing a good job off of a leg injury, Allen Iverson is having a quiet year, but he's still among the top three in the league for scoring, DWade is doing good, but he's gonna have to pick up the slack for Miami, Steve Nash isn't doing so good...but then again, the season is just 13 games in...Yao & T-Mac are doing good in H-Town...Who do you think will win the NBA MVP this year & Why? All opinions are welcome...

I've been asking myself the same question ever since the season began.

I think Lebron has huge chances. The Cavs are doing good and basically, they depend on Lebron to do almost everything. Cavs are a team of nobodies, and if Lebron does have a 52+ win season averaging 29/6/6, He will be a shoe-in for MVP. If not, blame the judges.

Other players I consider for the MVP award are: Dirk Nowitzki, Dallas; Steve Nash, Phoenix (He's got the assist stat owned so why not); Carlos Boozer, Utah (guy's been really good this year); Dwyane Wade (Wade's still the same high-powered scoring offensive beast out on the court, but his team isn't doing so well); and Tim Duncan (Probably another best record in the NBA. If Duncan keeps up his 22/12/3 effort, He could be a deadly candidate); Yao Ming (He's shown he deserved the first overall draft pick selection and he is healthy); and Kobe Bryant (Im still doubtful about this; hope Kobe returns to his 81-point form, but with more assists).

That's all I got. I still think LBJ will get it all.

i'm gonna have to go with lebron james he'll get a double double every game, i'm sure he has so far, i'll have to check that. But so far this season from what i've seen he's playing amazing and he's sure to get a fair few triple doubles, he just does it all.

i also think that tracy mcgrady will be close behind if he stays healthy (hope he does he's one of my favourite players) he's gonna be hungry and want to make the playoffs and get out of the 1st round.

So all in all it's between theses guys but i see lebron just taking it

I think that LeBron SHOULD get it. The Cavs are just an average team without him, if not a bad team. Look at the numbers, look at his assist-to-turnover ratio, look at his steals and blocks per game. His FG% is 49%, and he's avg'g just under 30. It's LeBron, and then everyone else.

You are an IDIOT!!! The NBA season is 9 games into their 82 game schedule, they start playing in October and don't finish up until June....how can you ask such a ridiculous question this far into the season? Who will win the finals....now that is a legitimate question....hmm...Chicago will be tough to beat in the East, but so will Miami....I have Chicago edging out Miami in 7 then going on to beat Dallas in the finals.

i don't comprehend yet. it relatively is nevertheless too early for a prediction. First it became in effortless terms LeBron. Then LeBron and Kobe went at it. And now Wade is the famous with Kobe and LeBron trailing... It variations a week and that i prefer to attend slightly longer earlier making predictions.

I think Dwayne Wade should win NBA MVP of the year because he is just a really good guard. Basketball isn't just physical, it is mental also and discovering mentally how to play basketball is very hard to discover, but Dwayne Wade just knows the game. He deserves it. GO DWAYNE WADE! I LOVE YA!

Not Kobe. Im sick and tired of that self-centered ball hog. He is a freak and everyone knows . He shows off for his 1,000,000 girlfriends (sexfriends) Even then there are tons of people better. Wilt Chamberlain for example, he scored 100 points. But everyone thinks 81 is better..... WELL ITS NOT!!!!!!!!!!
