THE CURRENT ANSWER IS TO TAKE ACRYLIC LACQUER SPRAY CAN AND SPRAY THE STUFF INSIDE THE DRUM.
THAT IS IT. I HAVE DONE IT 2 TIMES AND ABOUT TO DO IT THE THIRD TIME.. THIS TIME I'LL COAT IT A LITTLE HEAVIER. NO CHARGE FOR THIS-BUT I AM CORRECT. I DON'T PUT STUFF OUT THAT IS NOT CORRECT!

Most dryers have a drum that is coated w/ ceramic coatings. If you try to paint the drum you'll either have to bake it on, or have all of it fall off on your clothes.

I'd use Red Out or some similar thing to remove the rust stains. I can't understand how things got wet enough in there to rust out the drum tho.

You need a product from your local grocery store or hard ware store called CLR, others have mentioned it and this is the FIX ALL for many unsightly rust stains and mildew marks. You'll never be without a jug of it at home after you see how good it cleans things up.

Yes, it is called appliance touch up paint. You should use a rust remover like CLR first. Then you can use the appliance touch up paint to cover the spot. You can find it at the home improvement stores in an easy to use applicator included package.

You could probably use the enamel paint that you get to repair stove tops with.

try this cleaner its called CLR its a lime deposit and rust stain remover.
