prejudice is judging people before you really know them, mostly in a bad way,the word prejudice reminds me of the novel " pride and prejudice" Elizabeth judged that Mr. Darcy is arrogant without getting to know him for example.
how to measure it?you watch yourself and see,do you make cruel judgments about people you see for the first time??if so,change the way you think by concentrating on something nice about them.find the positive thing,it may take an effort but it's much better.

God Bless You :)

Prejudice is an unfavorable opinion or feeling formed beforehand or without knowledge, thought, or reason. That's the first definition in the websters dictionary. As far as reducing prejudice behavior, I feel it must be done when children are raised. Children are not born prejudice it is a characteristic that a parent instills in that child. If people are educated and not ignorant we can try to reduce prejudice behavior. But that's like trying for world peace. There will always be ignorant people in this world.

Prejudice is defined as an opinion or judgement, frequently unfavourable, based on irrelevant considerations, inadequate knowledge or inaccurate stereotyping.

Examples are as most people surely know.. When I go to Washington, D.C... to a restaurant, or whaterver, I hear black people talk bad about white people and how they would like to kill every white person. This is prejudice in its worst kind. I do not see any way to stop it as long as our society continues to allow the racist radicals as Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Louis Farakkhan, and many others who are horribly racist and hold predjudices against whites

Prejudice is a preconceived, uninformed, and often unfair notion about a group of people. It's easier to counteract it if you teach people about diversity at a young enough age.
