My family has always had the traditional Thanksgiving feast until a couple of years ago. Recently, we have gone to a restaurant and had dinner. We found that so much time was spent cooking and then cleaning up, that we really didn't get to spend as much time with family who traveled a long ways to be with us.
All that being said...we are doing the traditional feast at my house this year as family will be in for a couple days and not just an afternoon. Eat whatever you want - Enjoy the people around you!

I'd like a canadian bacon & pineapple pizza, and a spicy BMT from subway for thanksgiving... maybe some little debbie snack cakes for dessert
forget family togetherness, i just wanna eat and not have to clean up afterwards

Yeah we could get turkey subs from Subway. One year some Pizza place actually did a turkey, stuffing, cranberry pizza. You know when you think about it, it might not have been so bad.

For the last few years my Thanksgiving feast has been themed with seafood. There is no reason that you must follow any tradition. Go ahead & create some tradidions of your own.
