My husband and I have been trying to concieve for about 3 months. The last couple of days I have been really nauseaous. I have also had a headache (but I'm quitting sodas cold turkey) and My boobs hurt. According to my ovulation calendar I should get my period on the 25th. Do you think it is too early to take a first response test? I can wait but I'm a little impatient because I want it so bad.

There is a test out there that will show you if you are pregnant a week before you get your period. Most tests are designed to detect the hormones in the womans body. When you are pregnant your hormone levels rocket, which is why they tell you to use your first mornings urine. This will have the most amount of hormone level in it if you are pregnant, giving you a better chance of a more accurate result. Because even though you want to be pregnant, better to have the correct result than something incorrect and be dissappointed later. The signs are there, but take the test for certain. Good Luck and congrats if you are.

I don't think that it is too early to get a test. They are supposed to be able to read a pregnancy up to a few days late or just before your cycle starts. I took a test on my second just because I felt nauseaous and found out I was pregnant before I was even late. Plus when you want something really bad it is really hard to wait.

You should really wait until you have missed a period to get an accurate result. Theres no harm in taking a test now but it may come up negative because it is too early to detect and becasue you have not yet missed a period.

First response tests detect pregnancy hormones in 69% of women 4 days before they miss a period, 83% 3 days before, and 93% a day or 2 before. You can take one, but it might be wrong, just take it again a few days later if it is negative.

its possible, some people dont find out they are pregnant until at least 6 weeks gone which is usually when youre about 2 weeks late. retest in a few days if its still negative then go to your doctor and get a blood test done.

It does not seem to early to take a test. Go ahead and take it!! I buy the tests in two packs so that I always have a back up that can be taken closer to my period.

Give it a try! It took forever the first time I was pregnant for those sticks to work but the 2nd pregnancy it worked before I was late for my period! Every pregnancy is different! Good luck!

I would wait a little longer. While it is possible to get sick as soon as you're pregnant, 'morning sickness' usually dosen't occur until 1-4 months later. You should try to hold out just a few more days to get a more accurate result.

Go get the test. What could it hurt? swollen breasts.. that sounds rather definitive. Post us back with your results. Good Luck!
P.S. More babies are conceived in November than any other month. Hooray for cold weather and "indoor activities"!
