I think you should first be in love, then huuuum, the age. I would recommend that a girl and boy wait until they have established jobs and a secure income structure before going into marriage. I have seen too many young people get married right out of high school, and then turn around a year or two, sometimes less, and divorce. The stress that marriage places on young people who are not ready will break them. You have to be old enough to determine what a true blue committment is because without that from both of you, the marriage will fail. I have personally seen girls as young as 15 and boys as young as 17 make these committments, but they are far and few between. The longer you wait, the better. The minimum ages (as I see it) - boys 24-25, and girls 21. Only you can determine the best age. Good luck.

I was 28. I was past all the partying that young people do and I was sure I was ready to settle down. I do think I got married a little late in life though. I think mid to late 20's is a good age.

Mid to late 20's is when most personalities have stabilizes and people get serious about what the want from a relationship. For example...girls stop chasing the GQ Cover guy and give the regular guys a chance.

For me it was when I was 24 years, 10 months, and 6 days old and she was 21 years, 1 month and 12 days old. I have been married for 20 years now, and I wouldn't trade her in for any other woman in the world.

30 is the best age to get married. I believe at this age you should have gotten all your partying out and be more calm and less wild.

It differs. It isn't so much about a number. It depends on the people involved maturity level. My husband and I were very young. And people used to say we shouldn't get married because we are not old enough yet. But, we must have been old enough.Because to every ones disbelief we have lasted 16+ years.

Age does not matter...It's your experience is what counts...You can be young and have had alot of experience...It really depends on your partner and what both of you have accomplished or trying to accamplish...Make sure to do alot of planning and talking before you jump into marriage...
