It is possible to get pregnant at any time during the cycle, even whilst bleeding is occurring. If sprem comes into contact with her lady parts even without full pentration then preganacy can occur. So yeah, she could be pregnant. Most pregnancy tests work on the day your period is due, so if she's already late then it's possible to take the test, but again, they aren't one hundred percent, esp in early stages. A doctors appointment is probably best, an STD test might be a good idea too. I have been in exactly same situation, and the shame of having to tell my elderly doctor made sure i never did it again!

You could be right. But according to your statement she had already missed her period before the unprotected sex. Over the counter tests will tell you how long you need to wait after a missed period for best results.

She can test 14-18 days after intercourse. She could be so focused on pregnancy that she will delay her menstrual cycle and possibly ovulation. If she is trying to get pregnant, tell her to relax or her whole system is going to go haywire. Tell her to go to an ovulation chart website and check to see when she is due to ovulate. If she plugs that in she can see when she was/is fertile and decide from then how many days before she can expect a period.

Make sure she is well educated before she sabotages her entire system.

You may be right as missing periods is quite normal. But what is required is being very sure so that timely action can be taken, so the best judge would be a pregnancy test which is easily availabel at the medical store.

I think you are right mate and that the worrying is probably not helping the lateness. when people are stressed they can be late. if your friend is that concerned tell her to go to the family planning clinic. Congrats by the way.

Sometimes worry can make the period not come. I would give it a while before thinking that.
