An angiocath is another term for a cardiac catheterization; it is used to determine the amount of blockage in coronary arteries, among other things; it is a fairly common procedure.

It is a cardiac catheter. They usually go in through a small incision in your groin and thread a small catheter into your heart. They then inject dye at spaced intervals to see if there are any blockages. In the ones I've seen, the person is only put under a local anesthetic and you go home a few hours later.

Philisophically speaking? What is anything? Are we really here? Do words have intrisic meanings or are they just sounds absent our participation?
