Barry Sanders
Walter Payton
Jim Brown
Eric Dickerson
Emmitt Smith
Marshal Faulk (not officially retired, but ...come on)
Tony Dorsett
OJ Simpson
tho I only have 8, I don't really think I should add anyone else. Marcus Allen seems statistically worthy, but he played for so damn long, but really only broke 1000rush yards 3 times and topped out at 13 rushing TDs in a season (he has an impressive total due to the long career)
Oh ****, how'd I forget Earl Campbell?! (after looking at other answers) TD would be good too, but I don't let "potential" get into "best in history"
