He's self made, a decent family man with good values. I'm from NY but we all know the red states like Southern white men on the ticket, so he has "all 50 states appeal." Plus, he's young enough to represent fresh ideas for the future but not so young that he's inexperienced like Obama. So, if he ran, would you vote for him?

He's an ambulance chaser. Those aren't good values. His experience is 1 term as a Senator. He couldn't carry his home state in a general election.

If he was worth anything, he would have helped out the ticket in 2004. Instead, Kerry/Edwards didn't even carry his own state. At the time of the election he'll only have a few years Senate experience on Obama. I think he can run, but I don't think he has a shot at winning the primary. I also think Rudy would eat him up in the generals.

Don't listen to these people. You can find out what he's been doing these past two years by going to his website: http://www.johnedwards.com. He's way more than a "trial lawyer." Please inform yourself before expressing an opinion, people. Opinions are NOT facts and are NOT all worth the same thing. I would vote for him for sure.

I think he is one of the best candidates for the Democratic Party. He is also a much better candidate than any name on the Republican ticket.

My reason for disagreeing is that the party needs to find someone who can beat McCain, Edwards strengths are covered even stronger by McCain. I don't think he can beat him.
